Wacky Weather

A couple of weeks ago our waterproofs were flying off the shelf, last week our customers were armed with sun cream, and as I’m writing this we’re experiencing an insane thunderstorm… This English weather certainly keeps things interesting for an outdoor pursuits company like us!

Our advice to customers visiting us for an activity day this summer would be to come prepared for all weathers – pack a rain coat, some sun cream, an umbrella and wear layers! We’d also advise keeping a spare pair of wellies in the car boot just in case!

The Quad Biking and Off Road Rage Karting will definitely get you the muddiest if we’ve experience heavy rain before your event. Don’t let this put you off though – the tracks are a huge amount of fun when they are wet and slippery. As long as you’re dressed for getting muddy then you’re in for a treat!

Our shooting activities – Archery, Axe Throwing and Clay Shooting – aren’t really affected by the weather too much – they are outdoors though so you’ll get wet in the rain but you’ll get a fantastic tan in the sun, but other than that they are great fun. We have picnic benches with roofs over them on each activity for shelter should you need it!

So although we’re an outdoor activity centre, you’ll have a great time with us whatever the weather – just be prepared!
