Corporate Responsibility Policy – Southern Pursuits
Southern Pursuits is committed to environmental and social responsibility. We are continuously seeking ways to reduce impact on the environment and create a responsible culture within our business.
Environment
We encourage our suppliers to be environmentally friendly and ethical and strongly support small and local businesses.
We encourage recycling of all materials in our office and at our venue. Recycling bins are available on site for cans and plastics and we encourage all guests to use these.
Our staff members get actively involved in recycling and conserving energy and understand our commitment to moving towards a paperless office environment.
All our corporate literature and correspondence is produced through digital means, reducing the impact that brochures, letters and envelopes would have on the environment.
Wherever possible, we encourage guests to car share or use the services of our minibus to get to our events in order to reduce the impact on the environment.
Our staff members wear fleeces produced from recycled plastic bottles!
Our timber on site is sourced from sustainable managed forests.
Community
We support local farmers through rural diversification, by using their land to hold our events.
We support local charities through holding fundraising events at our venue. Keep checking our news pages for details of our next charity day!
